Has there ever been a time in the history of America where we have witnessed such a breakdown in both the integrity and morality of our elected government officials? I mean, what is going on here? Sexual scandals have become common place. Fraud, graft and blatant disregard for the manner in which so many officials spend tax payers money now appears to be the rule, rather then the exception.
Today, politicians appear to take office to advance their own personal agendas rather then those of the people who elected them. Can any American citizen really say they have faith in their elected officials to "do the right thing," (a common order in mob circles) for the people who elected them once they have taken office? If recent polls are any indication, the answer is a resounding NO! America needs to wake up. The people still control who lands in office. Republican, Democrat or whatever the party affiliation, if an elected official betrays the people and violates the oath of office they swore to uphold they need to be booted out.
There is no excuse for this breakdown. If America showed a zero tolerance at the polls for illicit, immoral and illegal behavior of their elected officials, we would get their attention. ZERO TOLERANCE at the polls is the only answer to fixing this dilemma and getting our country on track before it's too late. The rest of the world is watching. Even worse, our enemies are watching.
